Last year\, there was at least 9\,000 cases of child abuse reported. But the cases are probably much higher. \nUNICEF Child Protection program supports TeleCPUs for abused children. Barangay TeleCPUs are one-stop centers where abused children and women can safely and privately access medical\, legal\, and psychological services for FREE. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview. \nQUALIFICATIONS\n– Young people ages 13 to 24 years old. Children with disabilities are very much welcome to join.\n– Filipino citizen\n– Loves music and has basic songwriting skills \nMECHANICS \n\nAn individual or a group of 2-3 young people ages 13 to 24 years old may submit an original composition with the following criteria\n– Theme is child protection\n– Lyrics should contain the phrase AKO PARA SA BATA\n– Can be in Filipino\, English\, or any dialect (If non-English and non-Filipino\, provide translation in English or Filipino)\n– Any style or genre\n– 2 to 3.5 minutes long\nSubmit your entries thru this Google Form: bit.ly/awitparasabata on or before September 1\, 2024\, 11:59 PM.
